"Don't be Afraid to Dance", the title cut of my new album is a fun, George Strait meets Jimmy Buffet dance tune with the heartwarming message of a Dad to his son; "Life is full of things to fear my son, just don't be afraid to dance!" These songs are mostly stories from my life like "Country Singer" from my early days in Nashville. "Dishroom Blues" the anthem of lots of struggling artists, and I actually wrote it in a dish room while washing dishes!. "Mrs Shirley Green" is a compilation of several teachers who shaped my childhood. "You Made my Day" is from my time singing in the corner of local bars, wondering if anyone is really listening. And "Realize" is my most recent love song to my beautiful lady (who is also my dance partner in the DBATD music video!)
